“It’s such a beautiful image of what happens when the oppressed (miners and LGBTQ+ community) put aside their differences and prejudices, spend time getting to know each other as humans, then unite to stand up to the oppressor (in this case Maggie Thatcher and her party) who keeps kicking them down. I can’t recommend this movie enough.”
